The official website for the Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume (A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation) TV anime has revealed a new teaser video and visual for the show and confirmed that it will premiere in January 2026.

Noda Kenta is directing the anime at Synergy SP studio in collaboration with Ascension studio. The anime will star Saitou Souma as Lizel and Umehara Yuuchirou as Gil.
The anime is based on the Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume light novel series written by Misaki and illustrated by Sando (Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku). Both Sando and Momochi, the artists for the manga adaptation, have released illustrations to celebrate the announcement.
Author Misaki started the story in January 2014 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and TO Books published the first novel in June 2018 with illustrations by Sando. The 19th novel in the series was released in October 2024, and the 20th novel will be released on April 15th, 2025.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Momochi in December 2018, and TO Books published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019. The manga’s 11th volume was released in October 2024, and the 12th volume will be released on April 15th, 2025.
Tokyopop is releasing the manga in English under the title A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation, and it published the manga’s 10th volume in January 2025. Tokyopop describes the story below:
When Lizel finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place and to help him do so, he hires Gil, a seasoned adventurer, as his tour guide and protector.
Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life, adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually, so he might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!
