WWWave has confirmed that the Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no Aji ga Shite (Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women) TV anime will premiere in July 2025. The anime’s visual and the main cast members have also been revealed.
Keima Hajime is directing the anime at Raiose studio, and the anime will star Kawaragi Shiho as Yuri Koriyama and Ishii Takahide as Tsuyoshi.
The anime is based on the Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no Aji ga Shite manga by Musume Chinjao and Nogami Tama. Musume and Nogami started the ongoing manga in February 2021 on Kodansha’s YanMaga Website, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in July 2021. The manga’s 21st volume was released on February 19th, 2025. The manga is about drinking strong canned shouchuu highball with an older married woman.
