Pony Canyon has confirmed that the Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) franchise will get a new anime film in 2026 titled Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie. A promotional trailer and visual for the animated film have been revealed.

The Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) is a TV anime series that premiered in April 2015 and has since produced three seasons, five films, special editions, and spin-off films. The franchise is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and the trailer reflects on the past 10 years in chronological order, whereas the visual illustrates the protagonist Kumiko Oumae, jumping with a smile under the blue sky.

The original anime was an adaptation of the Hibike! Euphonium: Kitauji Koukou Suisougaku-Bu e Youkoso light novel series by author Takeda Ayano and illustrator Asada Nikki. Publisher Takarajimasha published the first novel in December 2013 and the final novel in two parts, one in April 2019 and the second in June 2019. Further short stories have also been published since the release of the final novel.
