Kadokawa released a new promotional video and key visual for the Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi (A Ninja and Assissan Living Together) anime. It also confirmed that the anime will premiere on Japanese TV in April 2025.

Miyamoto Yukihiro (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica) is directing the anime at studio SHAFT, and the anime will star:
- Mikawa Haruna as Satoko Kusakakure
- Hanazawa Kana as Konoha Koga
- Serizaea Yuu as Marin Izutsumi
- Kitamura Eri as Kuro
- Okubo Rumi as Yuriko
- Mikawa Haruna as Roboko
The anime is based on HundredBurger’s Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi manga. HundredBurger started the manga in August 2021 on Kadokawa’s Comic Degeki DaiohG magazine, and Kadokawa released the first tankoubon volume in January 2022. The manga’s fourth volume was published in April 2024.
The manga centers on Satoko, a naive female ninja, and Konoha, a high school assassin. Satoko escapes from the ninja village and meets Konoha, and they start living together a life full of danger and excitement.
