The official website for the Arisugawa Ren tte Honto wa Onna Nanda yo ne. (Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl/ 有栖川煉ってホントは女なんだよね。) anime has revealed a new promotional video and visual for the show, and it confirmed that the anime will premiere on Japanese TV on January 4th, 2026.

The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels on January 4th; however, the anime’s first episode will have an early streaming debut on the AnimeFesta and OceanVeil platforms on December 12th, 2025. All future episodes will be streamed in conjunction with the TV broadcast date and time.
Sasaki Sumito is directing the anime at Studio Leo, and the anime will star:

- Nishiyama Yuuki as Kyohei Arisugawa
- Hanakage Hotaru as Haruna Miyashita
- Natsuki Kanna as Satsuki Yoshioka

The anime is based on Asaduki Norito’s Arisugawa Ren tte Honto wa Onna Nanda yo ne. adult manga. Asaduki serialised the manga from September 2015 to November 2020 on the WWWave’s ComicFesta website. A total of 57 chapters were released digitally. The manga was released in English on the Coolmic website under the name Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl.
