The Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) is a TV anime series that premiered in April 2015 and has since produced three seasons, five films, special editions, and spin-off films. All three anime seasons are available to stream on the Crunchyroll website under the name Sound! Euphonium. Crunchyroll describes the anime below:

“Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.”

The original anime was an adaptation of the Hibike! Euphonium: Kitauji Koukou Suisougaku-Bu e Youkoso light novel series by author Takeda Ayano and illustrator Asada Nikki. Publisher Takarajimasha published the first novel in December 2013 and the final novel in two parts, one in April 2019 and the second in June 2019. Further short stories have also been published since the release of the final novel.
