The sixth tankoubon volume of HundredBurger’s Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi (A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof/忍者と殺し屋のふたりぐらし) manga has revealed that the manga series will end with the release of the seventh volume. The sixth volume was released on December 27th, 2025.

HundredBurger started the manga in August 2021 on Kadokawa’s Comic Degeki DaiohG magazine, and Kadokawa released the first tankoubon volume in January 2022. The manga’s fifth volume was published in March 2025.

Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in English under the name A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof, and it will release the manga’s second volume on March 17th, 2026 and the third volume on June 9th, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga story below:
“Satoko, a runaway ninja with zero street smarts, just wanted a quiet escape from her secretive village. Instead, she ends up crashing at the apartment of Konoha—a high school girl who moonlights as a lethal assassin.
What starts as an awkward roommate situation quickly spirals into a chaotic blend of dodging deadly pursuers, navigating high school drama, and figuring out who’s supposed to do the dishes.
With razor-sharp comedy and nonstop hijinks, this odd couple is anything but ordinary.”
The manga was adapted into a TV anime, which premiered in April 2025. The anime can be streamed on the Crunchyroll website under the name A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof.

Crunchyroll describes the anime story below:
“On the way home from school one day, Konoha Koga rescues Satoko Kusagakure, a ninja who escaped her village. Soon, pursuers from the village show up in search of Satoko only to be deftly dealt with by Konoha. As it turns out, the unassuming high schooler is actually an assassin. Thus, the potentially cutthroat cohabitation of a ninja and an assassin begins!”
