The Zatsuyou Fuyojutsu-shi ga Jibun no Saikyou ni Kizuku Made (Magical Buffs: The Support Caster is Stronger Than He Realized!/雑用付与術師が自分の最強に気付くまで ) manga by Arakawa Shin will get a TV anime adaptation in January 2027.

Okamoto Hideki is directing the anime at J.C.Staff studios, and the anime will star Kawashima Reiji as Wim Strauss and Hishikawa Hana as Heidemarie.
The manga itself is an adaptation of the Zatsuyou Fuyojutsu-shi ga Jibun no Saikyou ni Kizuku Made: Meiwaku o Kakenai You ni Shite Kimashitaga, Tsuihou Sareta node Suki ni Ikiru Koto ni Shimashita (雑用付与術師が自分の最強に気付くまで～迷惑をかけないようにしてきましたが、追放されたので好きに生きることにしました～) light novel series by Tokura Haka.
Author Tokura started the original story in November 2020 on the Shousetsu ni Narou website, and Futabasha published the first novel with illustrations by Shirai Eiri in September 2021. The series’s third novel was released in November 2023.
Arakawa started the manga adaptation in September 2021 on the Gaugau Monster manga app, and Futabasha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2021 and the 10th volume in December 2025. The manga’s 11th volume will be released on April 30th, 2026.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases both the novel series and manga adaptation under the name Magical Buffs: The Support Caster is Stronger Than He Realized!. It will release the second novel on June 16th, 2026 and the manga’s sixth volume on May 12th, 2026.
