Shindou started the manga in June 2022 on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2022. The manga’s fifth volume was released in March 2026.

Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus both release the manga in English under the name RuriDragon. Manga Plus releases the manga chapters digitally, and Viz Media released the manga’s second volume in August 2025. Viz Media describes the manga story below:
“Well, a half dragon. Her mom admits Ruri inherited her draconic traits from her father, who, yes, is actually a dragon. As if dealing with curious classmates wasn’t already challenging enough, Ruri and her dragon genes literally turn up the heat in the middle of a lecture. Her ordinary life is about to be anything but!”
In December 2025, it was announced that the RuriDragon manga was being adapated into an upcoming television anime by Kyoto Animation.
