Kadokawa has announced that the Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi (Noa Is My Senior, and My Friend/のあ先輩はともだち。) manga by Akiyama Enma will be adapated into a TV anime. A teaser visual has been revealed, along with an illustration by Akiyama in celebration of the news.
Yanagi Shinsuke is directing the anime at Feel studio.
Akiyama (Kimi ni Koisuru Satsujinki) started the romcom manga in July 2023 in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2023. The manga’s 11th volume will be released on July 17th, 2026.
The manga follows Rihito Otsuka (23), a laid-back, average guy who believes in moderation in both work and social interactions, and Nozomi Saotome (27), a high-achieving career woman who goes all out in both love and work. In the harsh lives of adults, friends are especially necessary, and these two colleagues at a game company become “friends” by chance…
