Amazon has described the 16th novel of the Ryoumin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama (The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects/領民０人スタートの辺境領主様 ) light novel series by Fuurou as entering its last ark. The 16th novel will be released on September 16th, 2026.
Author Fuurou started the story in January 2018 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou service, and Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel with illustrations by Kinta in October 2018. The series 15th novel was released in April 2026.
The novels were adapted into a manga by Yumbo in December 2018 in Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019, and the 15th volume on July 10th, 2026.
J-Novel Club publishes both the novel series and manga adaptation under the name The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects. J-Novel Club describes the novel story below:

The light novels were adapated into a TV anime, which premiered in Japan on July 3rd, 2026 on Amazon Prime Video and on TV on July 10th, 2026. The anime can be streamed on Crunchyroll under the name The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects.
