The official website for the Hell Mode – Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou Suru (Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing/ ヘｌモール～A Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing～) TV anime has announced that the series will get a third season, and it unveiled a new visual.
The anime’s first season premiered in January 2026, while the second season began on July 3rd, 2026 and ended on September 25th, 2026.

The anime is based on the Hell Mode – Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou Suru (ヘルモード ～やり込み好きのゲーマーは廃設定の異世界で無双する～) light novel series by Hamuo and Mo. Author Hamuo started the ongoing story in November 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel in July 2020 with illustrations by Mo (Hassai kara Hajimaru Kamigami no Shito no Tensei Seikatsu). The series’ 14th novel was released in July 2026.
The Hell Mode light novel series was adapted into an ongoing manga in October 2020 by Tetta Enji on the Comic Earth Star. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2021, and the 14th volume in July 2026.
J-Novel Club releases both the novel series and the manga adaptation in English under the name Hell Mode. J-Novel Club released the 12th novel digitally in August 2026, and the manga’s 11th volume digitally on September 2nd, 2026. J-Novel Club describes the novel story below:
