Staff for the Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! (Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!/生徒会にも穴はある！) TV anime have confirmed that the anime will be streamed on the OceanVeil website starting on October 3rd, 2026. A new trailer for the anime has also been revealed.

The anime will premiere on TV on October 3rd, 2026, and it will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV channels. d Anime Store and AnimeFesta will stream both versions of the anime in Japan, the “on air” version and its “unrestricted” version.
Tatsuwa Naoyuki is directing the anime at Passione Studios, and the anime will star:
- Sakata Shougo as Mizunoe Ume
- Shiraishi Haruka as Hisako Kotobuki
- Tomita Miyu as Komaro Michinoku
- Kouno Hiyori as Tan Otori
- Ishigami Shizuka as Arisu Terui
- Uchiyama Yumi as Satomi Hiratsuka
The anime is based on Muchimaro’s Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! manga. Muchimaro (Yo ga Yo nara!) started the comedy manga in April 2022 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2022 and the 13th volume in August 2026.
Seven Seas Entertainment will release the manga in English under the name Even the Student Council Has Its Holes, and K Manga publishes the manga chapters in English under the same title. The manga’s first volume will be released by Seven Seas on September 29th, 2026, and it describes the manga’s story below:
“In a student council filled with weirdos, one new member is about to have a hell of a school year!
Mizunoe Ume just wanted to avoid repeating a grade when he joined the student council. After all, it seemed like an easy fix to his current academic problems. But then, he met his fellow council members. Each of them is eccentric in their own way—one’s an airhead, another’s scary, one’s secretly a pervert, but all in all, they’re just really weird! Yet somehow, they’re also oddly cute and endearing. Which means Mizunoe is stuck with them and all the chaos they bring to the table.”
