The official Twitter account for Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) anime confirmed that the show’s seventh season will premiere in Spring 2024.
Season 7 will animate the Star and Stripe arc, the U.A. Traitor arc and likely part of the Final War arc currently still ongoing on the weekly manga publication. The anime’s first season premiered in April 2016, with subsequent seasons approximately every year.
The anime is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, created by Horikoshi Kouhei (Oumagadoki Zoo and Sensei no Baruji). Horikoshi manga began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in July 2014, and the manga’s latest compiled book volume, number 39, was released in Japan on November 2, 2023.
