The Honey Lemon Soda manga by Murata Mayu has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. Wright Film confirmed the news this week, and a teaser visual for the anime was released along with an illustration by Murata to commemorate the announcement. Nishkiro Hiroshi will direct the anime at J.C. Staff Studios.
The manga by Murata (Mata Ashita, Nagareboshi Lens) began in December 2015 in Shueisha’s Ribon magazine, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2016. The manga’s 25th volume will be released on April 24th, 2024. Yen Press publishes the manga in English and will release its fifth volume on March 19th, 2024.
