Staff for the Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita. Madousho no Chikara de Sokoku wo Tataki Tsubushimasu (A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires) TV anime have revealed a teaser trailer and visual for the show. It has also been confirmed that the anime will premiere in July 2026.

Kuzuya Naoyuki is directing the anime at Studio Comet, and the anime will star Ounishi Saori as Elizabeth Leiston/Ellie Leis.
The anime is based on the Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita. Madousho no Chikara de Sokoku wo Tataki Tsubushimasu (ブチ切れ令嬢は報復を誓いました。 ～魔導書の力で祖国を叩き潰します～) light novel series by Hagure Metabo. Author Hagure started the story in October 2020 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and HobbyJapan published the first novel with illustrations by Masami in May 2022 and the seventh novel in August 2025.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Ouno Imo in May 2022 on Comic Fire, and HobbyJapan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2023. The manga’s ninth volume will be released on December 27th, 2025.
J-Novel Club releases both the novel series and manga adaptation in English under the name A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires. It released the sixth novel in May 2025, and the manga’s seventh volume will be released on March 25th, 2026. J-Novel Club describes the novel story below:
