Kadokawa has listed the sixth tankoubon volume of Makimoto Umemi’s Seiyuu Radio no Ura Omote (The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio/ 声優ラジオのウラオモテ ) manga as the final volume in the series. Volume six is scheduled for release on January 27th, 2026.
The manga is an adaptation of the ongoing light novel series of the same name by writer Nigatsu Kou and Illustrator Sabamizore. Kadokawa published the first novel in February 2020, and the series’s 14th novel will be released on January 9th, 2026.
Makimoto started the manga adaptation in March 2020 in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first volume in August 2020 and the fifth volume in May 2025.
Kadokawa’s BookWalker releases the manga chapters digitally in English, and it describes the manga story below:
“Yumiko Sato works as a voice actress with a stage name “Yasumi”. She hides that she is a “Gyaru”, plays an innocent character in front of the audience. She respects Yuhi Yugure, who is also a voice actress and a highschooler.
Yuhi’s popularity is on the rise, and she had even done a concert in front of her fans. Yumiko is anxious…it’s her second year as a voice actress, and she has to be famous in a year or else she will have to quit this job. One day, she is offered to be a cohost to a weekly radio program with Yuhi Yugure.
The director of the program is totally excited…just because he knew that they were classmates! Yumiko couldn’t be more surprised–to know that Yuhi Yugure was Chika Watanabe, a grim-looking girl in her class!”
The Radio no Ura Omote light novels were adapted into a TV anime in April 2024. All 12 episodes of the anime can be streamed on the Crunchyroll website under the name The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio.
