The first full promotional video for the TV anime Trillion Game was released this week alongside the anime’s key visual. It confirms that the anime will premiere in October 2024 and air on TBS channels in Japan.

Satou Yuuzou (Kaiji) is directing the anime at Madhouse studio, and the anime will star Outsuka Takeo as Haru Tennouji, Ishige Shouya as Manabu “Gaku” Taira, M.A.O as Kirika Kokuryu, Touchi Hiroki as Kazuki Kedouin and Tanaka Yuki as Rinrin Takahashi.
The anime is based on the manga by Inagaki Riichirou (Dr. Stone, EyeShield, Chou Kochikame) and Ikegami Ryouichi (Crying Freeman, Heat, Lord). Inagaki and Ikegami started the manga in December 2020 in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2021. The manga’s latest volume, eight, was released in November 2023.
The manga also inspired a live-action adaptation in Japan in July 2023, and the series will receive a live-action film in 2025.
The manga centers on the carefree Haru and the serious Gaku, two men who plot to earn a trillion dollars so that they can afford anything they might ever want.
