Futabasha confirmed this week that the light novel series Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta Shiro Madoushi, S-Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madoushi ga Kikakugai Sugiru by Suigetsu Sora and DeeCHA have been green-lit for an anime adaptation.
Suigetsu started the story in March 2020 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Futabasha published the first novel with illustrations by DeeCHA (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita) in November 2020 and the sixth novel in February 2024.
Mukuno Wasabi adapted the novels into a manga series in January 2021 on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website, and Futabasha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2021 and the seventh volume in May 2024.
One day, Lloyd, a white mage, is banished from the hero’s party. Lloyd, who has lost his job, happens to accompany an S-rank party on a quest by chance. At that time, no one knew that the hero’s party would collapse and Lloyd would gain fame. This is the story of how an extraordinary support magic user who thinks he is normal becomes an adventurer while he is unaware of how he eventually becomes peerless.
