The official website for the TV anime Puniru wa Kawaii Slime (Puniru is a Cute Slime) revealed the anime’s second promotional video, a new visual, and confirmed that the show will premiere on October 6th, 2024, on TV Tokyo.

Ibe Yuushi (Tearmoon Teikoku Monogatari) is directing the anime at TOHO Animation Studio, and the anime will star Sasahara Yuu as Puniru, Umeda Shuuichirou as Katarou, Shimizu Risa as Mami Kirara, Enoki Junya as Yuusuke Nanpa and Hanamori Yumiri as Alice Okanega.
The anime is based on Maedakun’s Puniru wa Kawaii Slime web manga. Maedakun started the manga in March 2022 in Shogakukan’s Shuukan Coro Coro Comics online publication. Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in July 2022 and the fifth in January 2024.
The romantic comedy tells the story of Kotarou, who created a slime and named it Puniru. The slime then transforms into a beautiful, free-spirited girl.
