Studio Mir is animating the Devil May Cry series, which is said to have eight episodes in the first season and Adi Shankar and Alex Larsen are the show’s screenwriters. Reportedly, there are plans for multiple seasons of the show but no further information has been released yet.
The Devil May Cry video game franchise started with the release of the first game in 2001 for PlayStation 2. Over the years, the franchise has produced various games and inspired manga, novels, stage plays, and an anime show.
