Staff for the TV anime Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai (Let This Grieving Soul Retire!) have revealed the show’s main visual and its main promotional video. The anime will premiere on October 1st, 2024, on the Tokyo MX and BS NTV channels.

Takata Masahiro (High-Rise Invasion, The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch, The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World) directs the anime at Zero-G studios, and the anime will star:

The anime is an adaptation of the Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai: Saijaku Hunter ni Yoru Saikyou Party Ikusei-jutsu (Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Woe is the Weakling Who Leads the Strongest Party) light novels by Tsukikage and Chyko.

Tsukikage (Dare ni Demo Dekiru Kage kara Tasukeru Maou Toubatsu, Kuraki Kyuuden no Shisha no Ou) started the story in January 2018 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Micro Magazine published the first novel with illustrations by Chyko (Skill Lender no Torikaeshi) in August 2018 and the 11th novel in February 2024. The 12th novel will be released on September 30th, 2024.
