Staff for the second season of the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) TV anime have confirmed that it will premiere on January 6th, 2025. A new promotional video and visual have also been revealed for the anime’s new season.

The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi channels on January 6th and on AT-X on January 7th. It will also be streamed on Netflix in January 2025, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
The anime’s first season premiered in July 2023, and all 12 episodes were streamed worldwide on Netflix. Kojima Masayuki and Kubota Takehiro, who directed the first season, will direct the second season at Kinema Citrus studio.
The show is based on the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) light novel series by Agitogi Akumi and Tsukioka Tsukiho. Kadokawa published the first novel written by Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukioka in January 2019 and the eighth novel in March 2024. Yen Press publishes the novel series in English under the name My Happy Marriage, and it will release the eighth novel on January 21st, 2025.
Kohsaka Rito adapted the novels into a manga on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website, and Square Enix released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2019 and the fifth volume in July 2024. Square Enix Manga & Books publishes the manga in English, and it will release the fifth manga volume on April 1st, 2025.
