Kadokawa has confirmed this week that Netflix will start streaming the second season of the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) TV anime on January 6th, 2025, the same date it premieres on Japanese TV. The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi channels on January 6th and on the AT-X channel on January 7th.

The anime’s first season premiered in July 2023, and all 12 episodes were streamed worldwide on Netflix. Kojima Masayuki and Kubota Takehiro, who directed the first season, will direct the second season at Kinema Citrus studio.
The show is based on the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) light novel series by Agitogi Akumi and Tsukioka Tsukiho. Kadokawa published the first novel written by Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukioka in January 2019 and the eighth novel in March 2024. Yen Press publishes the novel series in English under the name My Happy Marriage, and it will release the eighth novel on January 21st, 2025.
