Bandai Namco Filmworks has confirmed that the Yuusha Party o Oidasareta Kiyou Binbou: Party Jijou de Fuyojutsu-shi o Yatteita Kenshi, Bannou e to Itaru light novel series by Togami Itsuki and Kisaragi Yuri has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. A teaser video and visual along with celebration illustrations have been released.

Kanbe Hiroyuki (Viper’s Creed, Oreimo) is directing the anime at Animation Studio 42. The anime will star Outsuka Takeo as Orun Dula, Tachibana Hina as Sophia Clodel, and Ounishi Saori as Selma Clodel. The anime’s official website describes the story below:
One day, Orun Dura was expelled from the Hero Party he belonged to by his childhood friend Oliver, the leader of the group, for lack of skill. For Orun, who had converted from a “Swordsman” to an “Enchanter” for the sake of the party and supported his companions with magic he had developed himself, this was something he could never accept.
However, even his companions, who should have shared the good times and the bad, mock him for being a jack of all trades and master of none, and he is told that his successor has already been chosen. In despair, Orn bids farewell to the Hero Party and renews his resolve as an explorer, beginning his solo endeavors…


Togami started the ongoing story in February 2021 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Kodansha published the first novel with illustrations by Kisaragi (Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei) in September 2021 and the eighth novel in December 2024.
The novel series was adapted into a manga in October 2021 by Yenozou in Kodansha’s Suiyoubu no Serious website, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2022 and the 13th volume in December 2024. The manga’s 14th volume will be released on March 7th, 2025.
