KILLRIGHTS
KILLRIGHTS
201500
(4.9)

Grim Reapers are tasked by one simple job by The End itself: Kill a living being at a specific time, place and manner. Equipped with Scythes, Grim Reapers have followed this task for millennia only to become more and more overwhelming and final. And deviant. These deviant Grim Reapers, Desperados, kill when they want to and how they want to, taking souls in the Afterlife and the World of the Living until The End had enough and created a class of Grim Reapers to combat this eternal war. The Killrights. Armed with weapons called Death Arms, Killrights are tasked to eliminate Desperados by any means necessary. Meet Vadars Keinricht, a young soul (well, for his time) ready to do his part in the eternal struggle except his division is the lowest of the low, only assigned to do delivery, policing, stop bar fights and the occasional Sandbeast tussle. However, his division is more than what meets the eye. And he may or may not be the key to preventing the apocalyptic collision of both worlds. A fast-paced, desert Old West action story with Grim Reapers, cowboys, demons and battles beyond humanity.

Yo! I was just browsing through NamiComi and stumbled across KILLRIGHTS. Honestly, the whole setup is incredibly sick. The concept of deviant Grim Reapers Desperados just running wild while "The End" has to construct a literal military police force of Killrights to hunt them down is such a fresh spin on the classic reaper lore. It instantly caught my eye. The Western aesthetic mixed with supernatural chaos is just begging for high octane visuals. I can already picture a massive, gritty manga panel showing Vadars Keinricht holding off a massive Sandbeast with a Death Arm, or a tense, dusty standoff in a demon infested saloon. That contrast of desert sand, heavy cloaks, and cold iron would look absolutely insane in a dynamic, heavily inked manga style. I’m Ava, a commission based comic and manga artist, and I'd honestly love to help you bring some of these scenes to life. If you ever want to adapt chapters into fully realized comic panels, or just need some high impact promo art to grow the reader base on NamiComi, let's talk!
