"Why is it, that even after everything I've been through, my reincarnation fantasy is so immensely bitter?" A young woman suffering from a heart defect is reincarnated in another world as a witch. At first, everything seems like a dream come true, but little by little everything around her begins to crumble into a horrifying hellscape of darkness and misery.

Yo, I just checked out The Memoirs of a Public Enemy on NamiComi by Mae-mae Comics and man, that setup hits hard. Taking the classic isekai trope where a girl with a heart defect gets a second chance as a powerful witch, only to slowly watch her dream reincarnation crumble into a horrifying, miserable hellscape is a brutal twist. It has a fantastic, dark psychological edge that completely upends the usual comfy fantasy expectations. The sheer tragedy and creeping horror of her realization would look absolutely stunning in a visual medium. I keep picturing how a gritty manga style could capture the sudden shift from a bright, hopeful dream world to the grim, claustrophobic reality of her life falling apart. Using heavy shading and deeply expressive panel layouts to showcase her mental distress and the monstrous elements surrounding her would create a crazy amount of impact for the readers. I'm a commission based artist, and I'd love to help you bring these darker scenes to life as promotional manga pages, webtoon style panels, or character concepts that emphasize that psychological tension. I work closely with indie writers to lock down their exact visual mood and aesthetic.
