The final chapter of the Kao Sae Yokereba Ii Kyoushitsu (Looks Are All You Need) manga by Mahcdai was published on October 23rd, 2024, and the manga’s third and final tankoubon volume will be released on November 25th, 2024. The manga is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Mikawa Ghost and illustrated by necomi.
Mahcdai (Kemono Friends a la Carte) started the manga adaptation in April 2023 on Kadokawa’s Shounen Ace Plus manga website, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first volume in October 2023 and the second volume in May 2024.
Kadokawa published Mikawa’s original light novel series, with illustrations by necomi. The first novel was released in June 2022, and the second novel was released in October 2022. Yen Press published the novels in English, and it released the second novel in January 2024.
On October 23rd, 2024, Mikawa confirmed on his Twitter account that the Kao Sae Yokereba Ii Kyoushitsu (Looks Are All You Need) light novel series had been discontinued and that the second novel would be the last in the series. Mikawa is well known for his work on the novel series Gimai Seikatsu (Days With My Stepsister), Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai (My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!), and Kaibutsu Chuudoku (Monsterholic).
