Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine has confirmed that Kikuta Yui’s Mushikaburi-hime (Bibliophile Princess) manga will return from its hiatus in the magazine’s January 2025 issue, which will be available for sale on November 28th, 2024. The manga went on hiatus in May 2024.

Kikuta (Shunkan Lyle) started the manga in August 2018 in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine, and Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2019 and the ninth volume in May 2024.

The manga is an adaptation of the Mushikaburi-hime light novel series by author Yui and illustrator Shiina Satsuki (Suterare Reijou wa Renkinjutsu-shi ni Narimashita. Kaseida Okane de moto Tekikoku no Shou o Kounyuu Shimasu). Yui began the story in  September 2015 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Ichijinsha released the first novel in July 2016 with illustrations by Shiina and the seventh novel in October 2022. The novel series also inspired a TV anime, which premiered in October 2022.

J-Novel Club published both manga and novel series in English. The manga’s seventh volume was released in February 2024, and the seventh novel was released in January 2024.
