Pony Canyon have announced that the Kirio Fanclub (Kirio Fan Club/ 霧尾ファンクラブ) manga by Chikyuu no Osakana Ponchan will be adapted into a TV anime in 2026. A teaser video and visual have been released.

Toyama Sou is directing the anime at SATELIGHT studios, and the anime will star Hieda Nene as Aima Miyoshi, Wakayama Shion as Nami Sometani, and Kajiwara Gakuto as Ken Kirio.
Manga author Chikyuu no Osakana Ponchan serialised the manga from June 2022 to August 2024 on Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha’s Comic Ruelle service. Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2022 and the sixth and final volume in September 2024.
In September 2024, Chikyuu no Osakana Ponchan announced on their Twitter account that the manga would get a live-action TV series and an anime adaptation. The live-action drama premiered in Japan in April 2025.
Kodansha USA Publishing will start publishing the Kirio Fan Club manga in English in the Spring of 2026, and it describes the manga’s story below:

In October 2024, the Kirio Fanclub manga received a spinoff story by the original author, titled Kirio Fanclub FC (霧尾ファンクラブＦＣ). The manga ran from October 2024 to February 2025 on Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha’s Comic Ruelle service. The manga’s only volume was released in April 2025.
