Staff for the Hone Dragon no Manamusume (Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter/ 骨ドラゴンのマナ娘 ) TV anime have revealed the show’s first promotional video, main visual and confirmed its 2027 debut.

Nishina Kuniyasu is directing the anime at Douga Koubou studios, and the anime will star Hanazawa Kana as Eve and Inoue Kazuhiko as Nemu.
The anime is based on Yukishiro Ichi’s manga of the same name. Yukishiro started the manga in September 2020 on Mag Garden’s Mag Comi website, and Mag Garden published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2021. The manga’s sixth volume was released in August 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English under the name The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter, and it will release the sixth volume on December 1st, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga story below:
“In a faraway land, there exists a forest where all manner of beings go to dispose of their trash. One day, a young girl named Eve is abandoned along with the usual debris, but she is quickly found by an aging dragon who decides to take her in and raise her as its own. Under this ancient being’s watchful eye, Eve grows up happy and healthy, but soon their peaceful life together is interrupted by impending tragedy.
