But what really grabbed me is the heavy friction between Matthew and Grace. That raw, painful contrast between Matthew’s dark, abusive background and Grace’s genuine, soft hearted drive to pull him out of his shell man, that dynamic screams for visual storytelling. Imagine a stark, heavily inked manga panel of Matthew looking completely isolated in the shadows, suddenly cut against a bright, warm close up of Grace trying to reach him right before the chaos hits. The psychological weight of his trauma clashing with her light would look insanely dramatic in a high contrast comic format.
