Schedule releases and fix mistakes safely

A steady schedule matters more than speed. Readers who know when the next chapter arrives come back for it.

Schedule ahead

When you upload a chapter, you can pick a date and time instead of publishing right away. Build a buffer of two or three finished chapters, then schedule them on the same weekday. That way a bad week never becomes a missed update.

Followers are notified when a chapter goes live, so a predictable time also means more readers in the first hour.

Fixing a published chapter

Always edit the chapter. A typo, a swapped page, a better thumbnail, even a redrawn page: editing keeps everything the chapter has earned.

  • Views, comments and likes stay.
  • It does not appear again in the latest-updates feeds.

Avoid deleting and republishing. A republished chapter starts again from zero: its views, likes and comments are lost for good, and readers lose the conversation they had on it. It is not something we encourage, so make editing your first choice every time.

Taking a break

Set the title's status to Hiatus in its details, and post a short note to your followers. Readers will wait for a creator who tells them what's going on.
