Start here: from sign-up to your first chapter

Publishing on NamiComi takes six steps. Most creators finish the first five in one sitting, and the last one happens on its own.

The six steps

1. Log in or sign up. One account is all you need, for reading and for publishing.
2. Create a Creator Profile in NamiComi Studio. Titles belong to the profile, not to your personal account.
3. Create your title. A short guided setup asks for the name, description, cover, content rating, format and genres.
4. Submit for approval. At the end of the setup, choose to submit the title now.
5. Add your first chapters. When you submit now, the Studio asks if you want to upload chapters at the same time. Add the chapter number, a thumbnail and your pages. A moderator checks the title and its chapters together, usually within a few hours and always within 24 hours.
6. Go live. The first chapter of each title is reviewed once. Every chapter after that publishes straight away, or at the time you schedule.

Nami's tip: When the Studio asks, upload chapter 1, or your first few chapters, together with the title. It helps dramatically: moderators see what the story really is, and your title goes live with something to read the moment it's approved.

What you keep

Your titles stay yours. NamiComi does not ask for exclusivity, so you can publish the same work on your own site, on another platform or in print, as long as you hold the rights to it.
