Upload a chapter that reads well

Open your title in the Studio, go to Chapters, and add one.
Numbering
- Chapter: numbers only, and decimals are fine (12.5 for a bonus). Other platforms call this an episode.
- Name: optional, and the number does not go here. Use "The Lighthouse", not "Ch. 3 – The Lighthouse".
- Volume: optional. Create volumes first in the Collections tab.
- To publish a oneshot, turn on the Oneshot toggle, or leave both chapter and volume blank.
Page images
For page-by-page formats (comic and manga):
- Recommended: 3:4 aspect ratio, at least 1,200 × 1,600 px.
- Limits: up to 2,000 × 10,000 px and 20 MB per page.
- JPG, PNG or GIF, and less than 500 MB per chapter.
For long strip:
- Recommended: at least 1,200 px wide.
- Limits: up to 2,000 × 80,000 px and 100 MB per image, 250,000 px of total height and 500 MB per chapter.
Upload the best quality you have. NamiComi re-encodes every page into several versions, so readers on mobile data still get a fast, light page. Your high-quality originals are kept, so your pages will look even better as encoding improves. A page at a decent resolution is often around 5 MB.
Before you submit
- Check the page order in the preview.
- Add a thumbnail that isn't a spoiler.
- The first chapter of a title waits for moderator approval. You can still edit it while it waits.
Nami's tip: Schedule the chapter instead of publishing it straight away. It gives you time to spot a swapped page, and readers learn when to expect you.
