The 16th tankoubon volume of the 30-sai made Doutei da to Mahou Tsukai ni Nareru Rashii (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!/30歳まで童貞だと魔法使いになれるらしい ) manga by Toyota Yuu has revealed that the manga will end with its 17th volume, which will be released next year. The manga’s 16th volume was released on November 20th, 2025.
Toyota (Naraku no Hoshi, Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan) started the romance manga on Pixiv’s Gangan Pixiv service in 2018. Square Enix licensed the manga and published the first volume in September 2018 and the 15th volume in January 2025. It was announced in January 2025 that the manga was entering its final arc.
Square Enix’s Manga & Books releases the manga in English under the name Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!, and it will release the 15th volume on January 20th, 2026. Square Enix describes the manga below:
“Adachi, a thirty-year-old virgin, has developed the power to read people’s minds by touching them. After a brush with his very handsome colleague, Adachi realizes the guy has a raging crush on none other than Adachi himself!”
The manga inspired a TV anime in January 2024, and all 12 episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll under the name Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?. Crunchyroll describes the anime below:
“Adachi’s 30th birthday as a virgin came with the oddest gift—the ability to read the mind of anyone he touches. Pondering what to do with this mysterious power, he gets a lead when he accidentally reads his colleague Kurosawa’s mind. Turns out the handsome hotshot of the sales team has got a thing for him! The manga also inspired a live-action Japanese series that premiered in October 2020. The series received two spin-off episodes in 2021 and a live-action movie sequel that premiered in Japan in April 2022. The series and the two spin-off episodes can now be streamed on Crunchyroll under the name CHERRY MAGIC! THIRTY YEARS OF VIRGINITY CAN MAKE YOU A WIZARD?! (Live-action). The manga series was also adapted into a Thai live-action series that premiered in December 2023.
