Verification adds a blue star next to your name, so readers know a profile really is yours. It's for creators at risk of impersonation, creators who want readers to know it's really them, and anyone who simply wants the star.

What gets verified

One application covers both your Creator Profile and the account that owns it. The star then shows next to both names: on your profile pages, your posts and in direct messages.

Before you apply

Set up your Creator Profile first. Use the name and avatar readers know from your other socials, so it's easy to see the profile is yours.

Apply

Fill in the creator verification form. It starts by asking for:

  • your email address, so the form can send you a copy of your answers;
  • your name or pen name;
  • the link to your Creator Profile, from the address bar on your profile page;
  • why you'd like to be verified.
